History and Qualifications
Wes Adkins is an accredited forester graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in forest resource management. His professional career began managing private industry production as a harvest forester in southern New Mexico. Wes enhanced his conservation capabilities managing large land reclamation projects in central and eastern Colorado. Wes returned to western Iowa with a wealth of knowledge and experience and a desire to use those tools to improve Iowa’s natural resources.
